ENERGY OPTIMISATION

In line with the commitment of S.A. Clay Mining and Technology with innovation, the environment and energy efficiency and, as part of its actions in this area, it has carried out an energy saving and emissions reduction project in the production of absorbent clays.

This action consisted of replacing the current global plant lighting with LED technology, thereby reducing electricity consumption. 

Estimated annual energy consumption savings of 15 toe/year and a reduction in emissions of 57 tCO2/year. Eligible investment has been 95.358 € and the aid granted of 21.863 €.
