BIOGAS_RIS3 is the project that the Fondation pour le Développement des Nouvelles Technologies de l'Hydrogène en Aragon coordinates with the collaboration of: MYTA, GRES ARAGÓNentreprise également du SAMCA Group , Enagas, Man Hummel et la Waste Management Huesca (GRHUSA).
The project aims to absorb biogas impurities through advanced materials which, in addition to absorbing them, optimise the methanation process to transform them into synthesised natural gas that can be easily integrated into the current natural gas distribution network. Hydrogen produced by renewable energies is used for this process.
MYTA contributes to this project of the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation with one of the most advanced materials for gas production: natural sepiolite. The material comes from the mines that the company Myta owns in Orera (Saragosse). Our presence in this initiative reflects our strong commitment to research, development and innovation concerning solid urban waste and agro-industrial waste, and will contribute to achieving the objectives set by the EU for the transition to a circular economy, in order to reduce pollution in our region.
